Sometimes I get the wonderful opportunity to reevaluate how I think about things. This time it happened about influence:

Of course I was of the opinion that the iPhone must have been the most influential phone in recent years, because from my perspective, it changed the way we interacted with the internet and with phones in general, which was an important change. Much more important, however, was the change for the millions upon millions of people who, for the first time in history, did have access to the telephone network at all. Which, I guess, is more important than twittering about your latest meal...
