Mozzarella Fluffy Buns

Delicious soft cheese buns. From:


  • 120ml milk
  • 20g sugar
  • yeast
  • 20g butter, room-temp
  • 200g flour
  • salt
  • 120g mozzarella


  • warm the milk in the microwave, add sugar and yeast
  • add to flour, salt and butter and knead into a dough
  • leave to rise for 30 min
  • divide into 8 pieces, make into small rounds and fill with mozzarella. Make sure to pinch them shut very well, they'll leak otherwise.
  • let the balls rest for 45 min
  • bake in pan on medium heat without oil for 5-6 minutes on each side
