• Howls Moving Castle by Dianne Wynne Jones: I bought this on a whim, because I remember watching and not understanding the movie. Then I read it entirely on the train ride home. It is weird in just the right way. All the magics fit together with new rules whenever it's necessary, all the people are just exactly as you'd expect them to be (except for one), and of course the absolutely honey-sweet love story is just so very sweet. 8/10
