Progress
I held my first AI seminar. Two hours of compressed information. You may hire me now!
It was a bit stressful, so next week I'll do it again.

Books
- A City on Mars by Kelly and Zach Weinersmith: Every year, I find The Book. Here's an entirely unbroken list of the previous years: [[2021-12-26-book-of-the-year]]. When I pre-ordered City on Mars, I really thought I had found this year's The Book. Alas, this isn't it. While it is enjoyable and well-written, it consist mostly of negatives and sobering clarifications.
- Science and Cooking, then I started reading this book which I had gotten for Christmas last year, again with high hopes. And again, this isn't it. It's just not different enough, any way too concerned with molecules.
