Weeklog for Week 36: September 02 to September 08

Progress

Another vacation week without much work finished. But that's good. Some things are getting clearer in my mind.

Articles

Libraries, programming, etc

  • Apache Zeppelin: Web-based notebook that enables data-driven, interactive data analytics and collaborative documents with SQL, Scala, Python, R and more.
  • GitHub - bjornbytes/lovr: Lua Virtual Reality Framework

Books

  • The Nature Of Code by David Shivman: started reading it after receiving my 2nd edition and I like it, even though it is a bit too basic for me. Also, I think the title should be "the Code of Nature".

Games

  • Walkabout Minigolf
  • Factorio
  • Gourdlets: it's a city builder without goals. That might be nice for some people, but it's not for me.
  • Snowtopia: a snow resort manager. Also quite relaxed. We'll see whether that's for me or not.
  • Lego Builder's Journey: so cute!

Backlog

  • Coral Island (Humble Choice)
  • Infraspace (Humble Choice)

Recipes

  • **Hamburgerbrötchen
  • Schokoladenkuchen
  • Zitronenkuchen mostly freehand, but turned out very good.
